Financial Accountant

SUMMARY:
Large concern in the medical and healthcare industry, based in Midrand has an opportunity for a Financial Accountant with Advanced Syspro skills. Tertiary qualification, preferably Honours essential.

POSITION INFO:

End to end accounting function inculding:

Monthly reporting for group companies including Profit Flash, GP Reports and Management Accounts

Monthly expense schedules and profitability reports for branch managers

Review of expense allocations to companies and divisions against budget

Reconcile intercompany accounts for all companies                                   

Prepare and capture monthly intercompany invoices

Balancing of sub-ledger to general ledger on Syspro

Balance sheet reconciliations                                                             

Capturing/processing of expenses in general ledger             

Assisting with the budget process and import approved budgets into Syspro

Review of AR and AP postings, journals and reconciliations

Reconcile stock returned to suppliers and credit notes / replacement stock received

Responsible for the annual Audit process of relevant assigned companies

General reporting when required from colleagues within the Group

Design and creation of management reports with Crystal reporting

Extract and run queries on Syspro and SQL database

Adhoc projects

Strong reconciliation skills

Tertiary financial degree, SAIPA or equivalent

Syspro essential (experience with Crystal reports and / or ODBC highly advantageous)

Excel advanced
