An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accountant to join a growing business in the online gaming and betting space. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a dynamic environment, and understands the unique financial complexities of the industry.

We're looking for a strong Accountant with proven online betting or iGaming experience. The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working across banking, reconciliations, management accounts, payroll, reporting, and compliance. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys solving problems, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves in a fast-moving business.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining the integrity of financial information across the business. You will work with high volumes of transactions and multiple payment streams while supporting management with reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance requirements. This role offers broad exposure across accounting, payroll, treasury, and finance operations within a rapidly evolving industry.

Skills & Experience:

Manage the full accounting function
Prepare monthly management accounts
Perform bank, payment provider, and wallet reconciliations
Reconcile revenue, fees, and balance sheet accounts
Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable
Manage payroll and payroll-related reconciliations
Assist with cash flow monitoring and reporting
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
Maintain strong financial controls and reconciliations
Assist with month-end reporting requirements
Resolve financial discrepancies and investigate reconciling items
Support business operations with financial reporting and analysis
Minimum 2 years' experience within the online betting, gaming, or iGaming industry is essential
Strong full-function accounting experience
Payroll experience is non-negotiable
Strong Excel skills
Experience managing high-volume transactions
Experience preparing management accounts
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function

Qualification:

Qualification in Accounting or Finance
