POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
This company is seeking a motivated and hands-on Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Germiston.

This role is ideally suited to a BCom-qualified professional who has completed articles and has 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for core accounting functions, supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial management within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform SARS submissions and ensure tax compliance
Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Assist with management accounting and reporting
Prepare and review creditors' reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end processes
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger integrity
Assist with audits and internal control processes

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree (essential)
Completed articles (essential)
2–3 years’ relevant accounting experience
Experience with SARS submissions and tax processes
Exposure to fixed assets and management accounting
Creditors reconciliation experience
SAGE experience advantageous
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a deadline-driven mindset
