POSITION INFO:

Join a well-established group of companies with over 35 years in business, offering logistics and financial expertise across multiple entities as a a Financial Accountant. This role is suitable to an individual that recently completed their SAIPA articles.

What you will be doing:

Manage all daily accounting transactions
Audit financial transactions and documents
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Compute taxes, handle tax planning, and prepare tax returns
Perform daily, monthly, and annual closings
Conduct timely bank reconciliations and reporting
Manage trail balances, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements
Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements
Report on financial health and liquidity
Safeguard financial data confidentiality and manage backups

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting
Recently completed SAIPA Articles
Strong technical ability with reporting and statutory reporting experience
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and accurate
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
