A pioneering manufacturing entity who is dedicated to designing and developing state-of-the-art solutions. As they expand their operations and scale new heights, they need a sharp and reliable Financial Accountant to strengthen their financial framework and contribute to our ongoing success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Experience on Xero OR Dear Inventory would be advantages
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel, experience with manufacturing-specific financial software is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and understanding of inventory within the manufacturing field
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.

• Oversee and manage the finance department, reporting directly to the Head of Finance
• Will be responsible for the full finance function.
• Compile advanced Reports: Cashflow, management packs and reports, budget and forecasting reports.
• Prepare and oversee bi-annual Audits.
• Prepare and submit PAYE, VAT and provisional tax.
• Understanding of an environment with inventory and manufacturing.
• Monitoring of inventory movement and transactions.
• Understanding and implementation of accounting transactions to AFS level
• Review and maintain internal controls with regard to financial risk management BBBEE calculations and cost monitoring ensuring compliance within the monthly reporting framework as a whole
• Financial Analysis and communicating financial data in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify, assess, and manage financial risks that could impact the organization.
• Managing and preventing financial risk.
• Assisting with BBBEE Audits
• Oversee the Financial compliance.
