Finance and Insurance Specialist

SUMMARY:
A rapidly growing business who is the first-of-its-kind in its industry is currently seeking for a F&I Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role would suite a young, dynamic professional that has experience in completing finance processes from end to end. You will need to have a good understanding of compliance requirements, have high personal ethical standards, work well within a team, have excellent multitasking abilities and must be able to adopt to constant change/betterment in current process.

POSITION INFO:
The successful applicant duties include but is not limited to:
-Identifying customer needs through an effective need’s analysis.
-Evaluate each individual customer needs.
-Effectively process finance applications and maximize profitability in placing the business at the most favourable return without compromising the client.
-Apply selling skills in selling the best options to the customer from the approved bouquet of products.
-Have a passion for customer service.
-Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to avoid duplication of effort and costly mistakes.
-Build effective relationships with product suppliers and ensure that the offerings in terms of products are the most effective and profitable.
-Participate enthusiastically and effectively in performance meetings.
-Perform administration functions effectively and ensure company policy is always adhered to.
-Ensure FAIS Code of Conduct is always applied.
-Ensure adherence to the FICA policy by reporting cash threshold and suspicious transactions.


Minimum Requirements:
-RE5 qualification
-FAIS (Financial Advisory & Intermediary Services)
-NQF 4 (min 140 points on INSETA is essential)
-NCA Accreditation
-Must be able to handle an average of 30-40 vehicle units per month
-CPD points up to date (if applicable)
-Job requirements as per the FAIS Act Must be of good character, honesty and integrity. Must not, in the past 5 years have been:
-Found guilty in court of fraud or dishonesty
-Been denied membership, disqualified or fined by a professional body as a result of dishonesty, negligence, incompetence or mismanagement
-Been fined or censured by a Regulatory body as a result of negligence, incompetence
-Valid Driver’s license (code 08) and own transport
-English spoken and written
-Applicants fluent in additional languages (Xhosa; Zulu; Afrikaans) would be given preference
