SUMMARY:
Finance and Human Resources Manager - Modderfontein

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Position:  This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to get involved with the reporting and the operations of the Finance and Human Resources. The candidate will also provide strategic and operational input enabling the Exco and board of directors to drive the business forward.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

vDaily cashflow management and rolling cash forecast.
vTrade finance management.
vDaily forex trading, forecast and analysis – USD and Euro.
vManagement Accounts.
vFinancial risk management.
vDebtors & Creditors management.
vFinancial analysis and insights.
vPreparation of Annual Financial Statements.
vInventory Management.
vPreparation/review of input for Exco and board financial reports.
vAid with any SARS queries.
vPreparations of departmental and company budgets.
vOverseeing the compliance and timely submissions to the relevant statutory entities.
vDevelop external relationships with appropriate contacts, i.e. auditors, customers, bankers and statutory organisations such as the receiver of revenue.
vOverseeing the entire payroll function.
vDevelop and implement Human Resources and people development strategies, objectives, and processes.
vInfluence management and the operations of the ongoing need for transformation and drive it throughout the organisation.
vMaintain the organisations benefits programs - Provident Fund and Risk Benefit.
vOversee and manage the Employment Equity plan.
vDeveloping, updating, and implementing all HR policies and procedures.
vStays up to date with latest training requirements and curricula of training providers internally and externally.
vManaging the company’s annual Salary Review process.

 

Job Requirements:

ØEducational Competencies:
vMatric.
vBComm Accounting.
vMinimum of 3-5 years of Financial experience.
vMS Office.
vKnowledge in VAT and Tax Act.
vKnowledge of Payroll processes.
ØBehavioural Competencies:
vAttention to detail & Good team player.
vAble to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
vAnalytical and Critical Thinking.
vLeadership skills & Relationship Building.
