POSITION INFO:

A reputable JSE listed entity specializing in education and recruitment across South Africa and Africa is looking for an experienced CA (SA) to join their team as a Finance and Admin Manager.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Finance and Admin Manager will be responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register monthly and submitting VAT returns and reconciliations. The Finance and Admin Manager will be responsible for management reporting, month end deadlines, flash reporting and management accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for journals, CAPEX monthly reconciliations and assisting with internal audit information. The Finance and Admin Manager will also be responsible for cash flows, budgets, internal processes, and rental calculations.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA(SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 2-3 years’ post article experience in a similar role
• Experience in the property industry or having audited the property industry would be advantageous
• Attention to detail is imperative
• Working knowledge of CAPEX is non-negotiable
• Experience dealing with the fixed asset register is preferred
• Experience working with Pastel Evolution would be advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
