SUMMARY:
A large organisation in the educational industry is looking for a Finance Personal Assistant to join their team for a 5 month Fixed Term Contract. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Finance Director

POSITION INFO:

A large organisation in the educational industry is looking for a Finance Personal Assistant to join their team for a 5 month Fixed Term Contract.

The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Finance Director

• Minimum 5 years Personal Assistant experience is required
• Minimum 2 years general accounting background / experience is required.
• Postmatric qualification would be an advantage
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Experience in Pastel 6, EdAdmin, Power BI and/or Jotform would be an advantage
• Flexibility with tasks, a sound work ethic, and the highest standards of ethical and
• professional conduct
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team, with a strong focus on customer service and delivery excellence.
• Conscientious, reliable, independent, pro-active and detail-driven
• Ability to work under pressure, and deadline-driven
• Respect for the ethos and purpose of the Board
• Flexibility and reliability required in dealing with different facets of the Personal
• Assistant function, including administrative, filing, scheduling appointments, liaison
• with board members, executive, parents and staff, correspondence, managing and
• responding to messages and emails, minute-taking, meeting pack preparation,
• typing Annual Financial Statements, greeting visitors, handling inquiries, screening
• calls and actioning regular adhoc requests from the Financial Director
• Ability to administer the companies Subsidy Programme, including liaison with parents, administering the Jotform IT system, audit of applications for completeness, preparing interview files, scheduling parent interviews with the Financial Director, actioning the implementation of subsidy approvals, analysing information and generating reports
