Finance Manager CA(SA)

SUMMARY:
Overview:
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Financial Manager. The incumbent MUST be a CA(SA) with at least 3+ years post-articles and have SAP experience. 

This is a 3-month fixed-term contract to start ASAP, with a strong possibility of permanency at the end of January 2022.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily financial operational functions within the Finance Department, this includes managing a team of staff in the delivery of Financial Objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist CEO with strategy implementation to ensure profitability
• Comply with governance, policies, and procedures (IFR)
• Manage Audits
• Ensure deadlines are met
• Implement controls that mitigate risk
• Cash flow management
• Construct and introduce a regional finance structure capable of managing and controlling all financial and management accounting functions:
• Review all financial and management control reports/reporting 
• Develop and facilitate annual budgets with each department
• Review and monitor revenues and expenditures in all areas
• Operational support
• Building close working relationships with the operational team such as department heads, subsidiaries, and joint ventures of the company and leading the finance department to ensure that finance is seen as a value-adding business partner by the operational team.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to finance and risk policies, procedures, and systems approved by the Chief Financial Officer.
• TAX, VAT, PAYE Management to ensure compliance with SARS
• Renewal of monthly general ledger recons
• Approve all payments
• Manage debtors
• Must keep abreast with current trends within the profession
• Must share information with colleagues
• Participate in training courses arranged periodically by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Financial qualification preferably a B.Com Degree
• CA(SA) - 3 Years post articles
