SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Construction industry is looking to appoint a hardworking individual as their new Finance Manager for their Pretoria based Finance team. Our client is looking for someone who has completed a minimum of 5 years’ post South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) articles experience. POSITION INFO:

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree specialising in Accounting
• Completed South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) articles
• Previous working experience in a similar Finance Manager and/or Accounting position
• Advanced Xero and Microsoft Excel software skills are high advantageous

Job description & Skills:

• Preparing financial reports, management reports, statistical reports, monthly reconciliations, and tenders
• Facilitating debt collection and reporting the accounts receivables of the company
• Reviewing and verifying invoices and setting up invoices for payments
• Tracking the expenses and processing expense reporting
• Ensuring compliance with SARS tax requirements and other relevant legislative and/or regulatory requirements
• Overseeing the negotiation and/or management of contracts
• Providing business advice and/or strategic decision making that supports shareholder value management
• Managing administration as well assisting with the related general auxiliary support functions
• Liaising with auditors and stakeholders
