A progressive consulting firm is currently recruiting for a Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:

A progressive consulting firm is currently recruiting for a Financial Manager.

Qualifications:

CA (SA), SAIPA, or AGA (SA) registered
2-3 years post articles experience
Excel (advanced)

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and technology consulting.
Manage external audits, and filing of all taxes (CIT, VAT and Custom)
Assist the Finance General Manager in executing long-term strategic plans to improve and retain company performance.
Maintenance of accurate financial records for clients.
Compliance with tax legislation, Companies Act, IAS and IFRS, group accounting policies and governance frameworks.
Maintain Profitability Monitoring tool to calculate/track/change Transfer Prices and support the filing of TP reports to authorities.
Creditors & debtors Management.
Payroll preparation.
Liason with external auditors, IDC Investment Analyst, Finance Divisions, Tax Authorities, External Vendors, and Head Office Consolidation Department.
Financial monitoring and reliable and trustworthy financial statements, tax compliance and the introduction of effective management accounting systems.
Daily financial accounting and control management to long term compliance and financial system and process implementations.
