SUMMARY:
Finance Contractor - 3 months contract - CBD, CT - R30k p/m - Start Jan 2022

POSITION INFO:

This is an excellent opportunity to prove your worth whilst working for this well established and expanding supplier of fashion accessories!
You will provide “hands-on” assistance to the Head of Finance with implementing the Group restructure. Possible perm prospects for the right candidate!

Key responsibilities will include, amongst others:
• Creating a new ledger and chart of accounts on Sage Evolution
• Manage all financial aspects and stakeholder engagements for the purchase of take-on stock into the DC and the implementation of a new Retail Management System
• Assist the Head of Finance with the take-on consolidation of the results of 2 companies
• Assist with transitioning of suppliers/creditors from current entity to a new one
• Statutory requirements – managing the process of registration for PAYE, UIF, SDL etc. and assist the payroll accountant with the transition on 1 March 2022 to the new entitys payroll.
• There may be additional ad-hoc business requests that are not specifically mentioned above, which the role may be requested to assist with.

REQUIREMENTS
• B Com Management Accounting Degree
• Honours degree and articles will be advantageous
• If no completed articles then 5 years relevant experience
• Strong Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and high numeracy skills
• Prior exposure to Sage and VIP recommended
• Able to start in January 2022
