POSITION INFO:

My Client is looking for a Quickbooks Super User to oin their dynamic team

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Obtain various bank statements, reconcile and submit to folders for oversight purposes
  • Obtain commissions for all Sub Agents and load payments on Electronic banking system
  • Maintaining and attending to the Statements / Payment Register
  • Obtaining and reconciliation of Printer and hardware readings and order stock where required
  • Updating and reconciliation of ABSA Credit Card(s) and Diner Card(s)
  • Drawing and saving of all ABSA Statements monthly
  • Obtaining and Reconciliation of Telkom, Cell phone, NMBM, Eskom, Stellenbosch Municipality, Postal accounts, Courier accounts and levies
  • Prepare for and attend to payment meetings with directors and related parties, resolving queries where required
  • Loading of Internet banking payments for checking and authorization by Financial Director
  • Other related administrative functions like filing, archiving etc.
  • Reception Relief
  • All other ad hoc duties as may be required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification non-negotiable
  • Full Qualification advantageous
  • Be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans) is non negotiable
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks (working on this daily) on an advanced level is essential
  • Proficiency in Pastel Accounting will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Payroll Software (e.g. VIP / Pastel) will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Outlook E-mail
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
  • Clear credit and criminal record
  • Computer skills and knowledge (especially of Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) and knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems, such as filing and proper record keeping
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office/administrative management
