A leading supplier of engineering products seeks an experienced Finance Clerk to join their finance team on a half day basis. This position will be based in Midrand.

A leading supplier of engineering products seeks an experienced Finance Clerk to join their finance team on a half day basis. This position will be based in Midrand.

The purpose of this position will be to maintain accurate financial records. In this role you will be responsible for the full debtors and creditors functions, as well as adhoc finance duties as advised by your line manager.

The successful incumbent will be someone who can withstand the pressure surrounding accounting deadlines, who possess meticulous attention to detail and someone who can take initiative.

Education:

Relevant finance qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 to 6 years’ experience in a debtors and creditors role

Advanced MS Excel skills

Good understanding of accounting principles

Good relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Strategic thinker

Team player

Deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail

Own reliable transport is non-negotiable
