This ambitious company is looking for someone to âfill the gapâ between Operations and Finance and fulfill the duties listed below.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparation of trial balances for all South African companies including full balance sheet account reconciliations (i.e. fixed assets ledger, bank reconciliations, deferred and accrued income recognition etc.).

Preparation of year end file for Auditors and assistance in the audit process as required.

Liaison with Tax advisors on corporation tax and ensuring payments are made on time.

Online completion and submission of VAT returns

Online input of payments for suppliers, salaries, expenses, PAYE, VAT etc. for third party approval.

Ensure PAYE payments are made on time. Ensure monthly, half year and annual returns are filed on time.

Work closely with the sales administrator and sales team to ensure accurate monthly invoicing.

Monthly intercompany invoicing and payments

Intercompany account reconciliations.

Provide commercial support to sales team including analysis of pricing proposals and commercial or legal negotiation with customers and prospects

Prepare regular and ad-hoc analysis, reporting and presentations including for the Board

Preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts

Prepare board packs and commentary on performance, analysis on revenue/profit trends and KPI reporting

Create and maintain monthly cost-centre reporting

Analyse profitability of products, customers, business units and effectiveness of marketing spend to inform decision making and drive business performance

Building financial models and corresponding business case proposals

Provide ad-hoc business partnering working across all departments to help the Company reach financial targets and maintain financial control

Skills & Experience:

Experience in the Information Technology Sector is highly beneficial

Excellent analytical, numerical and excel skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Qualification:

Newly Qualified CA(SA)

Bcom and SAICA Articles OR

ACMA, CGMA
