SUMMARY:
A fast-growing pharmaceutical company based in the East of Johannesburg is looking for a strong Jnr Accountant/Fin Assistant who is immediately available to join their team for a one-year fixed term contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

BCom Degree/ Diploma
1 – 3 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience with Zero system
Full Function Bookkeeping experience

Responsibilities:

Basic accounting and Bookkeeping knowledge
Creditors, debtors, and inventory accounting knowledge (Incl. reconciliations)
Inventory accounting and costing (Incl. Foreign purchases of inventory)
Experience/knowledge of Intercompany recharges and transactions accounting
Understanding of customs clearing pack
Accounting software knowledge (Embrace and SAP Advantageous)
Advanced MS Office, Excel (Mainly Spreadsheets)

Accounting for creditors, debtors and inventory
Performing reconciliations for creditors, debtors and inventory

Accounting for foreign inventory purchases
Costing of foreign inventory purchases

Customs Vat and clearing for importation of inventory
