Finance Assistant, Centurion – R 360 000 CTC

SUMMARY:
This high performance drive group is on the hunt for their next Finance Assistant to join their newly merged group of companies. They’re the leaders in governance, training, advisory & company secretarial services

POSITION INFO:

The role will focus on working closely with the team to provide financial management services to the group of companies

The role will involve working from home, but from time to time, need to pop into the office for any operational requirements, but there’s no micro-managing

Minimum requirements:

Essential:

• Matric
• Relevant Accounting / Bookkeeping qualification
• 5 years’ relevant experience
• High Level of Computer Literacy (Google Workspace, Microsoft, Sage One, etc. – will need to be digitally savvy)
• Being able to interpret data proactively and visually – and advise internal and external clients of appropriate action to be taken

Advantageous:

• Sage One experience (not a make or break)

Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Take responsibility & accountability for the invoicing, debtors, cashbooks & any other finance tasks as assigned
• Asset register updates & reconciliation
• Take responsibility for the insurance of the group & ensure the various insurance is in place & updated on a regular basis in line with the risk in the group
• Ensure all clients, suppliers & vendor registrations are taken on in line with the relevant finance policies
• Complete debtors management of the assigned divisions in line with the accepted risk ratios established by the business & in line with the values of the group
• Deliver internal & external client service at the highest levels of professionalism
• Assist with the independent review of the companies within the group as may be required

• Ability to meet internal deadlines as set by the finance team, which may require to work under pressure
• Great communicator across teams & able to effect improvements across the different divisions that will require a collaborative style

• Confidentiality required for this position.
• Must be proactive & have problem solving & decision making skills
