Our client in the Automotive industry based in the Port Elizabeth area is currently looking to employ an Finance Assistant.

Requirements:

Matric.
Bcom Degree from recognized university.
Completed articles at an accounting firm.
Highly computer literate with advanced Excel experience.
Excellent attention to detail and confidence.
Must be willing to relocate to port Elizabeth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with ad-hoc accounting and functions in the finance department.
Assist with filling and administrative work in the finance department.
Assist with accrual calculations for month end accounts.
Assist with cashbook processing and admin for legal entity.
Assist with bank statement processing and reconciliations.
Assist with debtor’s general ledger reconciliation and control functions.
Following up and expedite customer payments.
Conducting credit checks.
Assist with petty cash.
