JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reputable company based in Durban is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team.

Qualifications and experience:

Grade 12
Accounting degree or diploma
At least 3 years finance experience
MS Office (Word, Advanced Excel & Outlook)
SAP Business One experience is an advantage

Key responsibilities:

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for local and foreign currency accounts
General control account reconciliations and allocations
Issue and reconcile petty cash
Maintain fixed asset register
General adhoc requests and admin tasks to assist finance department

Personal qualities and competencies:

Attention to detail, with strong analytical ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, without direct supervision and fit in well within a
multi-disciplinary team
Ability to organize and manage multiple daily priorities
