Finance Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client, within the Pharmaceutical Industry is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Meyersdal.

POSITION INFO:
• Cashbook recons and updating • Stock Counts: o Request GRV adjustments and stock holding reports o Capturing stock/invoices and adjustment on Pastel o Run inventory valuation report from Pastel and match with stock holding o Year-end stock count o Prepare COGS reports o Prepare low shelf life report o Prepare purchase orders o Delivering tender documents to neighbouring countries o Monitoring out of stock products o Completing payment requisitions • Bank Accounts: o Monitoring bank balances o Loading payments • Balance Sheet Recons: o Maintain the following balance sheet items: accruals, suspense account, accounts payable • Raw Material Pricing and Payments: o Establish relationships with Vendors and confirming pricing o Timely payments to Suppliers • Debtors recons and client visits / Manage account receivable and payables o Reconcile statements with ledger on Excel o Cashbook allocations to be processed weekly o Review accounts payable age analysis weekly o Provide comments on age analysis for overdue customers and suppliers o Check invoices to verify penalties / overcharges received o Process journal for decimal write off • Fixed Asset Management o Maintain asset register for the company and record all asset purchased on a monthly basis o Additions, disposals and calculation of depreciation of assets o Manage company credit / petrol card facilities
