Field Service Technician (PE)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking the services of a field service technician with experience with water piping and pumps.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric or equivalent
Valid drivers license
Clear criminal record
This role will require a combination of plumbing & basic electrical work so experience is needed
Engineering experience is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Client communication and site inspections.
• Servicing of Water filtration plants, ie. knowledge of membranes, bag filters, pumps and motors.
• Chemical handling
• Plumbing experience
• Perform all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain water purification equipment.
• Maintenance of plants on site
• Basic electrical knowledge, Fault finding and repairs on site.
• Complete the job task checklist in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist other employees with the delivery and installation of products/equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate in a positive manner with co-workers and customers to maintain positive public relations for the company.
• Basic computer experience.
• Managing the Client's online monitoring platforms.
• Self time management.
