SUMMARY:
Multinational equipment manufacturer and supplier has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician : Qualified Earthmoving Mechanic.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must be a qualified Earthmoving Mechanic (EME Mechanic) with a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience.
Carry out and service, troubleshooting and repairs - mechanical and electrical.
Complete and oversee the repairs of any detect found.
Carry out inspection and report on equipment submitted to the factory.
Complete job cards for sign off and other administrative requirements.
Use and understand diagnostic equipment.
Operate electrical and mechanical equipment pertaining to the job.
Supervision of employees where applicable (Artisan Assistant and Apprentice).
Provide on the job training to these employees.
Must be prepared to attend training courses online and at Head Office in Gauteng.
Compiling of parts list and identifying of components.
Prepare and submit time sheets.
Driving, using, maintaining and taking care of field service vehicle.
Work according to occupational health, safety and environment requirements.
Must be willing to work overtime.
Must be willing to sleep out of town away from home.
