Field Service Technician

Our Client in the Heavy Engineering Industry is seeking an experienced Training and Implementation Specialist or an individual as a Field service technician with the ability to learn training facilitation to join their dynamic team in the Northern Cape (Postmasburg)

Experience:

• Experience as a Training Specialist or Field Service Technician, with the ability to lead a full training cycle and have knowledge of various training and teaching methods or have the ability to learn.
• A sense of ownership and prode in your performance and a desire make a valuable contribution to the team''''s success and be a key driver of qaulity training practices contributing towards the safe, efficient and reliable operations of FESA.
• Have a willingness to learn, be able to engage and adapt to individual learning style for trainees from various backgrounds.
• Be computer literate (such as use of Microsoft office programs) in regard to developing material and maintaining records as per FESA Governance requirements. 

Education:

• Certificate in Training and Assessment.
• Certificate in Train the Trainer will be highly advantageous
• Experience in developing assessments and material towards a vocational certificate (mapping, developing of assessments against national units)
• An understanding of regulatory mining and mining operations requirements of the Mining Safety Act.

You will be responsible for:

• Safety: Work with General Manager in setting a culture that strives for no reportable safety incidents.
• Leadership and Management: This is a dynamic, hands-on role, playing a critical part in building capability across the ARDVARC and Drillwise operations team. Lead on and demonstrate the companies core values and principles, and corporate mission.
• Operations: Facilitation and delivery of training to tradesman and operators on ARDVARC and drillwise operations. Development and review of training materials, handouts, instructional materials and manuals to ensure quality and delivery of required training outcomes. Provide structured learning experiences, monitoring quality of results, and identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses at key stages of learning.

Salary offered: R285 000 to R350 000 per annum depending on experience
