SUMMARY:
Gauteng, Southern Suburbs client is seeking a Fitter or Millwright to join their team. Must have at least 5 years experience on rotating equipment (eg. Vacuum pumps or compressors.)

POSITION INFO:
SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

Trade Tested Fitter or Millwright
5 years experience as Field Service Technician and have done repairs on Vacuum pumps and compressors.
MUST have a valid driver''s license.

SYNOPSIS:
Field service on vacuum pumps and blowers at the customer site and in the workshop. Building of skid mounted systems that support the product range. The candidate will also be expected to help grow the business while in contact with customers by providing excellent technical solutions and looking for opportunities to increase sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must proficiently communicate with customers, verbally and via email, on a daily basis
Repair vacuum pumps
Build skids / systems precisely
Understand mechanical drawings
Install and repair pumps on site
Assist technicians with the diagnosis of the mechanical problems
Candidate must be able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Sales Function: Responsible for tracking previous services completed and getting customers to service again
Will be required to do reports for management and other administrative duties
Give accurate and constant feedback to management
Deal with unhappy customers professionally.
