Field Service Technician

SUMMARY:
An opportunity has become available for a Field Service Technician within the Pharmaceutical/Retail industry.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the job:

The purpose of this role is for the successful individual to provide onsite installation and maintenance to all Client Customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Ensuring the delivery of quality client service and continuously ensuring the agreed upon Customer SLA is met.
▪ Providing an onsite service to Client Customers and ensuring constant improvement in the quality and efficiency
▪ Establishing good working relations with Client Customers
▪ Ensuring high level of co- operation with other Client departments to achieve client satisfaction and business growth
▪ Providing presales assistance to the sales team
▪ Ensuring the provision of the right platform configuration to meet client requirements

Skills & Proficiencies:

• Minimum of 2 years previous On-site experience in Pharmacy/ Retail environment.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other colleagues in same and other departments, as well as external service providers.

• Minimum of Grade 12 certification

• Networking experience

• Understanding of PC Hardware set up and configuration

• Linux Experience

• Windows experience (advantageous)

Job Requirements:

• Own vehicle (Fuel reimbursed according to internal policy) - Drivers Licence

• Requires flexibility to work long hours and after hours when needed.

• Requires overnight travel away from home from time to time

• Own cell phone (reimbursed according to policy)
