Field Service Engineer

• Respond to service calls and travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly.

• Perform scheduled maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

• Provide technical assistance to customers over the phone or in person, guiding them through troubleshooting steps and resolving issues.

• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment maintenance. Generate service reports and document findings.

• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.

• Train customers and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.

• Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for service and repairs.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the service provided.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and documenting service activities.

• Have good organisational skills. 

• Computer literacy specific to Google, Workspace and MS Office.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.

• Proficiency in managing spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory efficiently.
