Field Service Engineer – Medical Devices

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Johannesburg

Position Overview:

A well-established multinational medical device manufacturer requires the services of an experienced Field Service Engineer, this position is based in Johannesburg.

The Field Service Engineer will ensure customer satisfaction through effective troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of Diagnostic Medical Devices.  One will offer customer support, address issues promptly and professionally.

Minimum Requirements:

Education or Experience required:

• Degree/National Diploma in Electronics or Engineering
• 3-5 Years’ experience in Field Lifecycle Maintenance, Sales Support, and superior Technical Customer Service
• Knowledge and experience in testing of Electronic Measuring Devices
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of Medical Diagnostic Devices is essential
• Experience or ability to work with other Electronics Test Equipment
• Possess computer and software skills (including Windows XP, Windows 7 MS Office, etc.)
• Must be able to travel approximately 75% of the time
• Fluent in English
