Field Application Engineer – S/Subs of Cape Town - Market Related

I am seeking a Field Application Engineer to work within the Business Development Team to generate technical solutions & successfully implement them for customers, including providing support to Junior FAE’s, product & solution training, technical sales, treating and implementing proof of concepts and assisting with all new products and solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

-        Relevant Engineering / Information Technology Degree or Diploma

-        CCNA

-        Solid experience and understanding of LAN’s and WAN’s

-        Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience

-        A valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Additional Desirable Skills:

-        Solid Linux experience

-        SCADA experience

-        MCSE / MCITP certification

-        CCNP or higher

-        Software testing methodologies

-        SQL experience

-        Scripting experience

-        UniFi experience (UEWA Certified)

-        Strong knowledge in VPN protocols
