SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for a dynamic Fashion Designer to join a busy and vibey Clothing company based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban.

POSITION INFO:

Job Role / Responsibilities : 

• Trend research and forecasting.
• Garment design and range building.
• Creating CADs, graphics and artworks.
• Compiling tech packs.
• Sourcing and approving lab dips, strike offs, trims, etc.
• Involved in assessing fit and PPS samples.

Requirements: ­­­

• Relevant Diploma/Degree in fashion design or similar.
• Working experience in a similar role.
• Creative design ability and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Keen eye for fashion and keeping up to date with fashion trends.
• Understanding of garment construction, silouttes, fabrics, etc.
• Ability to take direction and produce accurate, detailed work.
• Organised and able to work well under pressure.
• Portfolio available to view.
