Minimum qualifications and experience

  • Ideal candidate must have a minimum tertiary qualification, Diploma/related in accounting. Demonstrated work experience of minimum 5 years.
  • Experience and background in Procurement will be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of admin inputs.
  • Administration of SVA (Sourcing Vendor Award – aligns with non-Trade procurement Policy) managed on a system called Service Now (I.T ticketing platform) & PQ (Purchase Quote converted to Purchase Order) Approval process.
  • Administration of Purchase Orders.
  • Assisting with overall ad hoc administration.
  • Liaising with Credit Function to match invoicing.
  • Monitoring of Actual vs Budget Spend of approved SVA & PQ’s.
  • Assisting with quotation processes.

Essential skills

  • Know and apply fundamentals of accountancy, specifically to reconciliations.
  • Must be able to work independently from home.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high a degree of accuracy.
  • Strong Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent numerical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining attention to detail.
  • Planning, organising and excellent time management skills.
  • Critical thinker with emotional resilience to overcome obstacles.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
