Farm Manager (Pigs)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agriculture Industry is looking for a live in Farms Manager to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

•  Foremost being a very good stockman – being able to troubleshoot when pigs are not performing as they should
• Must have good leadership and management skills
• Have a very good understanding of the breeding program
• Be able to have excellent systems in place to be able to maintain a very accurate set of data and records
• Must be target driven- able to set and achieve goals
• Must be able to do daily reporting
• Must be proficient in MS Office and have good skills in Xcel
• Have a good understanding of the financial basics of the farm
• Be able to implement and maintain compartmentalization and Pork 360 standards
• Overlook maintenance of farm, and keep a good up keeping and appearance of the farm
• Working very well and closely with customers
• Being able to report to partners about the production
• Marketing of slaughter and livestock
• Track and maintain sales of the farm
