Farm Manager

SUMMARY:

Our client, a well-established firm within the Agricultural industry in the Eastern Free State is seeking an experienced an overall Farm Manager who has some experience with fruits for their fruit farm.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position (overall farming duties, involving in harvesting of fruits, fertilization, irrigation, weed and pest control, farm maintenance (mechanical, roads and fencing)
• Experience with fruit will be beneficial
• Working hours: Determined by farming activities
• Housing will be given according to the suitable candidate’s family needs
• Someone who can take initiative, must be a problem solver and self-motivated
• Seeking a strong candidate, who works well with people
• Sotho will be beneficial

 
Duties will be, but not limited to:

• Management of the Fruit and General Farm (harvesting of fruits, fertilization, irrigation, weed and pest control, farm maintenance (mechanical, roads and fencing) and taking care of some cattle)
