Factory Manager - Food and Beverage

Our client, a leading food and beverage manufacturing company, is seeking to employ a well experienced, qualified and industry specific Factory Manager for their fast paced plant Food and Beverage Plant.

Please Note: our client will only be reviewing applications with experience in the food and beverage sector, with preference to those with experience in managing a food and beverage processing and production factory.

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You must have a tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or alternatively in Production or Operations Management, coupled with a certification in project management or management, coupled with 5 - 8 years experience in operations and/or factory management within the food and beverage sector.
• You will have proven people management skills, being a natural motivator, as well as having good business acumen, technical abilities to problem solve and have a background in process, quality, process, maintenance and production management
• Ideally, you will have implemented Lean and World Class Manufacturing principles, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety standards such as HACCP, SSC22000 and OSH Act
• You will be an excellent communicator, an analytical thinker and be able to manage a diverse team to achieve profitable results.
• You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
