SUMMARY:
Location: Atlantis – Western Cape  
Reporting to: Demand Replenishment Manager
 
JOYA BRANDS is looking for a dynamic, and ambitious individual to join the Operations Team.
 
What Will You Do?
Responsible for verifying raw and packaging materials issued to and returned from the factory, ensuring items are stored correctly, and processing returns.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Some the key responsibilities include:

KPA 1:   Administrative duties                                                    
  • Capture the total count of all finished goods packed on pallets to date                                             
  • Check all quantities of raw and packaging material listed on the Bill of Materials Requirements Plan document and capture this data                              
  • If additional raw and/or packaging material is required a REQUIRED FROM MASTER TO FACTORY form must be completed and checked                              
  • Check all stock on the RETURN FROM FACTORY TO MASTER form                                             
  • Ensure that all stock has been counted at the end of production                                             
  • All production related documents (except food safety documentation) must be handed to the Factory Accountant
  • Record all production related statistics on the PRODUCTION SCHEDULE spreadsheet
  • Assist the Line Manager with his/her administrative documentation                                             
  • Coordinate PPE requirements of all factory staff               
  • Participate in monthly and year end stocktake activities 
  • Enforce housekeeping in both transfer areas               
  • Backup for checking finished goods picked prior to loading                                             
Requirements of the Role:
  • Matric                                                                             
  • Computer literate
  • 2 years administrative experience                                        
  • Good product and market knowledge, knows and understands the FMCG business and environment             
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
