SUMMARY:
Our client who is an international courier and package delivery company is seeking a Facility manager to join there remarkable team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Focused and experience in the following:

• Space planning and design
• Property and lease management
• Maintenance and repairs
• Asset Management
• SHE
• Green Initiatives
• AutoCAD experience
• Strong Project Management (incl types and values)
• Good team management skills
• Vendor management
• Good negotiator

Candidate Profile

• Grade 12  and a minimum of 5 -7 years in Facilities Management & Project Management;
• Degree in facility management or similar;
• Registration with The South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA) an added advantage
• Valid driver’s licence – minimum 2 years; with own reliable transport.
• Evidence of strong negotiating and decision making capability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including MS Projects.
• Proficient in Auto CAD Advanced 2D.
• Good Understanding of Health & Safety and Workplace Risk analysis and Standards.
• Strong problem solving skills and good understanding of the necessary principles of mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate independent teams to ensure desired results are achieved and strong independent work ethic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow up diligently and resolve  issues in a timely and effective manner.
