Facilities Repairman

SUMMARY:

Internationally established Manufacturing organization based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town has an opportunity available for a facilities repairman on a 3-month contract.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• MS Office / Computer literate.            
• Experience in the building industry.

Key areas of performance:

·         Physical facility repairs:

o   Replacing of windows.

o   Broken toilets.

o   Repair leaking faucets.

o   Structural repairs/ walls, plastering, lighting etc.

·         Admin:

o   Requesting invoices.

o   Capturing costs/data.

o   Collecting materials from suppliers.

o   Ordering materials.

o   Review non-conformance checks on facilities.

·         Supervising:

o   Supervise team of handymen.

o   Assign tasks.

o   Manage their workload.
