POSITION INFO:

Our client based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking a FX Ops Support Specialist.

Provide support to FX operations team

• Hard working, accurate and dedicated individual to provide support to FX ops team

Working hours dedicated to the operation of the FX business / available (by phone and email) during working hours of business days unless necessary back up has been arranged

Duties:
Onboarding clients - corporate and individual
Data capture - client information
Population of forms
Responsibility for ensuring FICA verification is satisfactory
Not pushing back onto client unless we can''t help
FICA verification and Risk rating
Account confirmations, foreign currency account opening

Nature of transaction
Understanding nature of transaction of what is required
Preparing documents for SARS and SARB
Management of client TCC files
Learning BOP completion and categories

Cash management
Client balances and statement request
Ascertaining and reporting on client transaction history and balances available for trade re allowances and facilities
Interest rate queries

Deal confirmations and trade
Numerical ability and logic
Communicating and sending deal confirmations

Settlement
BOP generation - both manual capture and system generated

• BOP capture and verification with client
• Bop release for signature
• Communicating BOP details to clients
• Recording BOP responses and 3rd party payments

ZAR transfers & forms completion
Swift notifications to communicated to clients timeously
Deadlines
Accuracy

Qualifications and Experience:

Matric
FICA, compliance governance training
Strong AML awareness
Numerical ability and logic
Client data capture and form completion
Managing client profiles and files
Client centric communication of onboarding & transaction status
Accurate capture of payment and banking details for clients
