POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FP&A Manager to join a leading mining group. The successful candidate will drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support critical decision-making across operations. In line with our board directive, preference will be given to female candidates who meet the requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full FP&A function across multiple mining operations.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial performance reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with on-site stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and accurate reporting.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.
- Leverage systems including HFM, TM1, SAP, and Power BI for reporting and insights.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial advice and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience:- Chartered Accountant (CA), CIMA, MBA, or Master’s Degree in Economics/Finance.
- 10+ years’ experience in finance, with a minimum of experience at more than one mining operation.
- Proven track record of building strong stakeholder relationships in a mining environment.
- Advanced proficiency in HFM, TM1, SAP, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a complex mining environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
