SUMMARY:
A well-established and growing financial services organisation is seeking a Financial Planner & Analyst to join its Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical individual with a passion for data and financial planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the overall financial health of the business.
The role reports directly to the Head of Finance.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts (revenue, expenses, and cash flow)
- Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to identify trends and evaluate profitability
- Provide financial insights to support investment decisions, new projects, and business strategy
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and ad-hoc analysis
- Assist with monthly reporting packs and management dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Credit, etc.) to gather data and align on business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
- 2–5 years’ experience in FP&A or a Financial Analyst role
- Advanced Excel skills (financial functions, pivot tables, VBA)
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases
- Experience in the retail or lending industry advantageous but not essential
