POSITION INFO:

Position: FOB Controller

Location: Krugersdorp

Salary: Market related

• Process management:
  • Manage the process for:
    • Project files.
    • FOB Projects.
    • Handling, Sampling, Loading Instructions.
    • Operational Dashboards.
    • Operational Schedule.
    • Moisture Report.
    • Invoicing.

• Operational Execution:
  • Open Project Files.
  • Request Space in Port for incoming cargo.
  • Arrange clearance with LBH/Delta for Maputo orders.
  • Send handling instruction to the Port/Facility.
  • If Concentrate, send sampling instruction to CIG.
  • Request clean slab photos and forward it on to the customer.
  • Request stockpile photos and send it to the customers daily.
  • Nominate vessel to port.
  • Appoint a clearing agent if applicable.
  • If clearance is done by The Company, request the MSDS/Rain Letter/Clearing Instruction/Commercial Invoice/Shipping
  • Instruction/Cargo Declaration and forward it to the Clearing Agent.
  • Complete the checklist on the Project file and place all relevant documents in the Project file.
  • If Concentrate, forward the TML to the agent before the Vessel berths.
  • Send loading instruction to the Port and clearing agents.
  • Appoint Draft Surveyor.
  • Request SAD 500 and send it to the customer.
  • Request the tonnage for the Mates Receipt (Shore scale or Draft).
  • Request the OBL once confirmed with the customer and send 3 scanned copies to the customer.
  • On completion of the Vessel, request the clear slab photo and forward it to the customer.
  • Prepare Invoice requisition once the final tonnage is confirmed, and forward to finance for invoicing.
  • All documents and invoices must be printed and placed in the project files and uploaded on the server.
  • Compile a project summary report, get approval from management and forward the summary to the customer.
  • All completed files must be handed to management for final sign off.
  • Regular updates to customers on Vessel ETA/ETB and Vessel Loading.
  • Check number of trucks / skips allocated (MW).
  • Monitor loading from warehouse to vessel (MW).
  • Operational Dashboards must be updated weekly.
  • Operational Schedule must be updated daily.

• Reporting:
  • Daily Internal and External updates on the Whatsapp Group Structures.
  • Daily photographic evidence of cargo must be sent to the customers.
  • Communication – Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
