FITTER 2 Months Temp (Rotating Workshop)

SUMMARY:
A challenging position exists for a suitably qualified fitter at a rotating workshop in Chloorkop, Kempton Park.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum qualifications / experience and critical requirements:

 

• Matric and Fitter & Turner trade test completed
• 4 years post trade working experience in a similar position
• At least 2 years’ experience on Compressors and Refrigeration systems.
• Be familiar with the equipment and machinery used in a workshop
• Ability to interpret P&ID’s
• Overhead Crane License

• Computer Literate

Other details

• Prepared to be on standby when required
• Good interpersonal, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
• Able to communicate fluently in English (read, write and speak)
• Pass all required verifications (id, qualifications, medical, etc.)

 

Key Performance Areas include:

 

• Perform scheduled plant inspections
• Perform maintenance work in accordance to specific trade
• Perform scheduled plant inspections
• Participate in MOC process (i.e.  follow MOC process for changes to standard operation)
• Participate in RCI’s troubleshooting and problem solving (i.e. fault finding and take pro- active remedial action)
• Assist in the development of Maintenance work procedures

 

Salary:----- per month but highly negotiable
