JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualified Fitter and Turner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in a maintenance environment
  • Experience in steel fabrication from drawings
  • Arc welding experience
  • Excellent hydraulic experience
  • Injection moulding experience advantageous
  • Own transport
  • Maintenance Fitter job description
  • Machine checks, hydraulic oil level, oil and water leaks (repair if necessary).      
  • Attend to mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns.
  • Lead machine preventative maintenance services including Robots.
  • Preventative maintenance of part conveyors.
  • Preventative maintenance of raw material mixers.
  • Preventative maintenance of production support equipment.
  • Preventative maintenance of granulator equipment.
  • Continuous improvement of plant equipment.
  • Chiller water and normal cooling water PVC pipework distribution maintenance and modifications.
  • Ensure machine lubrication systems fully functional.
  • Mechanical and hydraulic repairs.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Housekeeping of work area.
  • Steel fabrication work.
  • PVC piping installations.
