SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a qualified Financial Manager with at least 5 years experience within an industrial business environment.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12/ equivalent
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance and Accounting
Registered as a CPA/CA/ACCA or similar would be an added advantage

Experience and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in a similar position within an industrial business environment is essential for this position
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Strong leadership skills
Must be analytical and able to solve problems
Be pragmatic and result driven
Pro-active and able to drive change
Basic knowledge of ERP systems
Advanced skills (Excel)
A clear ITC and Criminal record
Own reliable transport
Reside on the West Rand
A stable work record and have contactable references

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and execute the strategy together with the Managing Director and Management Team according to agreed objectives
Handle the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and cost centre reporting
Assure proper cash planning and adequate Financial Activities like FX and loans
Lead the monthly and annual forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes
Initiate Transparent Cost Accounting
Prepare presentations and present for board meeting on financial figures
Take care of fulfilment compliance, legal affairs, Insurances and Tax
Manage HR function including payroll and wages
Manage IT function
Lead and finalise full annual audit in conjunction with auditors
Be involved in stock takes together with Supply Chain Manager
