SUMMARY:
FINANCIAL MANAGER urgently required for a WESTMEAD (PINETOWN, KZN) Engineering company.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description & Responsibilities:

To maintain the integrity of the financial accounting function in accordance with sound accounting practices, company policy and legislative requirements.
Financial Management.
Compile and analyze financial information
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures & accounting standards.

Required Competencies:

Knowledge of General Accounting Principles .
Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes.
Knowledge of relevant legislation.
Knowledge of Internal Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) preferred.
Knowledge of budgeting processes.
Excellent understanding of financial accounting, including balance sheet, reconciliations and allocation accuracy.
Knowledge of SYSPRO is mandatory

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, equivalent qualification (B Com accounting and or Management Accounting,) or commensurate experience.
Five years relevant financial experience, of which three years should have been in a management capacity.
Communication Skills, drive and energy, Analytical thinking, decisive insight.
Methodical, attention to detail/ numeracy. Attention to authority levels.

Remuneration:

R35K to R50K per month (CTC) DEPENDANT ON QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
