SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Financial Controller in Pretoria.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

STOCK:

Attend and Review stock counts.
Monthly reconciliation of stock receipted, and stock uploaded in system.

ASSETS

Update and maintain asset register, keeping track of asset conditions and inter-branch transfers.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Capturing new vendors in System.
Processing of supplier invoices (AP Bills) and reconciliation of supplier accounts; ensuring three way matching before capturing and on reconciliation of supplier accounts.

WAGES PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION

Processing Pay slips, preparing payment method and loading wage payments to be released.

CASH & BANK ADMINISTRATION

Importing bank files into the system
Preparing bank and petty cash reconciliation daily – reporting to the FM all ad-hoc and suspicious transactions.

Reporting: Assist Financial Manager in preparation of month-end reports.
Ensure financial-specific journal entries are uploaded onto the G/L.

Experience & Qualification:

Ability to use advanced spreadsheet functions; critically analyzing data and determine its validity and report accordingly.
2-3 years working experience will be beneficial.

Diploma /Degree in Accounting
Prior knowledge of working on an ERP system
