FINANCIAL ADVISORS

POSITION INFO:

Exciting opportunity available for both Junior and Senior advisors who are critical thinkers with problem-solving skills looking to expand or join the financial sector

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2 Years financial advisor or similar role experience post RE5 Certification 

Excellent computer literacy skills

FINRA qualification

Good time-management skills

Grade12

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of securities and insurance industries

No adverse credit or criminal record

Ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Relevant industry recognised qualification or FAIS credits if you have rendered advise within the financial service industry prior

Tertiary Financial qualification (Advantage)

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand clients’ financial needs

Determine clients’ expenses, level of income, insurance coverage, their financial objectives and goals, tax status and risk tolerance

Answer clients’ questions and address concerns

Advise to clients about insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management

Regularly review clients’ bank and other accounts

Analyse client financial data according to economic changes

Preparing or interpreting financial document summaries

Preparing investment performance reports and income projections for clients

Manage and regularly update clients’ portfolios

Continuous communication with clients’ on their financial status

Building and maintaining your client base
