SUMMARY:
Our client, a very well established corporate, is looking to employ a Financial accountant to join their team in Stellenbosch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is earmarked for an individual who is well qualified as they would like to look after your career progression.  A young CA or perhaps someone with a CTA will be first prize but they will also consider an individual with a completed financial degree and solid years of experience as an Accountant.  (There is more than one vacancy so we will also consider a CIMA.)

 

Your duties will include but is not limited to:

  • A detailed job description will be provided but you will have to manage a small team and be responsible for the full financial accounting function.  You will also assist the FM with cost analysis exercises. 
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Fixed assets 
  • Monthly financial reporting

In order for you to qualify for this position you need:

  • B.Com / CA / CIMA 
  • Previous management of small team essential
  • Solid financial accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel experience essential
  • Experience of integrated system advantageous
