SUMMARY:
An Office Automation company based in Cape Town is currently seeking a Finance Facilitator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Office Automation Deal Processing:
Management of the quality of all deal related paperwork from the sales executives to the finance houses and admin department. This includes Cash deals.
Negotiate all deals with the finance house with a view to achieving the maximum approval vs submission ratio.
Check, and where necessary, negotiate the best possible rates with the finance houses.
Fill out full document packs according to credit application and quote. These are to be sent with a checklist along with approval. This includes Cash deals.
Check completed paperwork received from the sales people before submitting to the banks.
Communicate status of approvals or declines with sales people and sales managers.
Vett relevant deals that are going In House and to company Finance.
Compile and send weekly reports of progress on “deal discounting status” to sales managers and or relevant staff members.
Communicate with company buyer and relevant regions’ service departments with regards to equipment deliveries and installation dates.
In addition all supplier invoices that relate to new deals either cash or rental must be reconciled to Cash or Rental deals done. This excludes stock items.
Assistance to FM :
Perform other tasks as required by Financial Manager.
Keep a daily updated spreadsheet of the status of all deals.
Finance House Relationships  
Commissions:
Ensuring all deal packs are scanned and sent to reps no later than the 5th of the month.
Ensuring commissions are received for checking by no later than the 10th of each month.
First line check of all commissions every month for both Office Automation & Consumables.
Once correct, they are to be signed off and handed to National Sales Manager for final sign off by the 12th of each month.
Other:
Office Automation experience is preferred, however deal discounting experience in another product line/field will be considered.
Preferably having used BPO as a front end system however not critical. Accounting package currently used is Pastel Evolution also not critical,
A “good” knowledge of  Word & Excel  will greatly be considered,
Must be a good communicator, verbal & written,
Numeracy skills & attention to detail, Accuracy  is very important,
Deadline driven,
Reliable and honest,
Ability to work under pressure & occasional overtime,
Stress tolerance,
Self-motivated,
Energetic.
