Job Overview:
A well-established multi-franchise motor dealership in Johannesburg is seeking a dynamic and experienced F&I Consultant to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all finance and insurance processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the vehicle purchasing journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate vehicle finance and insurance applications in line with dealership and regulatory requirements
- Structure finance deals and present options to customers clearly and professionally
- Liaise with financial institutions and insurance providers to secure approvals
- Ensure all F&I documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance products, interest rates, and industry regulations
- Maximise profitability through the sale of value-added products (e.g., warranties, service plans, insurance)
- Provide a seamless and positive customer experience from application to delivery
- Adhere to FAIS, FICA, and POPIA regulations at all times
- Compile and submit reports as required by management
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- RE5 certification (essential)
- NCA accreditation and FAIS compliance (essential)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as an F&I Consultant within a motor dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of finance and insurance processes in the automotive industry
- Proven track record of meeting targets and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
